Where Nature Heals, and Knowledge Awakens
Tucked away in the serene village of Suryamal, nestled in the tranquil hills of Palghar district, Maharashtra, stands a sacred space that blends science, spirituality, and service — the Suryamal Ashram.
Founded by the visionary Guruji in the early 1990s, this haven was envisioned as a research centre, a healing retreat, and a place of discovery where the ancient wisdom of nature meets the modern understanding of wellness.
A Hidden Gem Amidst the Hills
Just 70 km from Nashik, 150 km from Mumbai, and 250 km from Pune, the Suryamal Ashram rests gracefully on a 12-acre plateau surrounded by lush greenery, clear skies, and the purest mountain air.
Here, every breeze whispers calm. Every sunrise inspires gratitude. Every moment invites healing.

The late Shri B. M. Tikaaji played a pivotal role in helping Guruji identify and develop this serene land — a place where silence speaks, and nature heals.
Where Healing Meets Humanity
It was here that Guruji began his pioneering Neurotherapy research, working closely with the local tribal community, who fondly called him Babaji. These sessions became not only a study of healing but also a bond of trust and compassion between the Ashram and the people of Suryamal.
Since 1994, the Ashram has continued the noble tradition of offering free Neurotherapy treatments every Sunday, welcoming patients from across Maharashtra — Aurangabad, Dahanu, Jalgaon, Jawhar, Manohar, Mumbai, Nashik, Palghar, Pune, and Satara.
The local Adivasis now visit primarily on Mondays, continuing a practice rooted in love, care, and community service.
A Legacy of Service and Education
Established in 1993, the Ashram is a non-profit, non-political Public Charitable Trust, registered under the Charity Commissioner, Mumbai, as:
Dr. Lajpatrai Mehra Neurotherapy Ashram
Village Suryamal, P.O. Gomghar,
Taluka Mokhada, District Palghar,
Maharashtra – 401604.
Following the revered Guruji’s demise, the Ashram is now under the dedicated guidance of Mr. Ajay Mehra. Carrying forward Guruji’s vision, he has transformed the Ashram into a vibrant centre for learning and holistic living.
Today, Suryamal Ashram not only offers free treatments but also conducts educational programs in Neurotherapy, wellness workshops, and health camps, continuing to touch countless lives with the message — “Healing lies within.”
